In the heart of Budapest, we serve fresh and uniquely crafted crepes — from classic favourites to limited-time specials. Discover new flavours in a cosy, seasonally decorated space made for great food and even better conversations.
The place is near Astoria by the University of Theatre and Arts. They have 1 table outside, 1 inside on the left as you walk in and many upstairs to eat-in.
Order process is easy and quick, they take both cash and card payments. You get a white buzzer to alert you when your order is ready. I ordered an apricot jam one and another of that aranygalushka which is walnut filling and vanillia sauce. The crepes were made to perfection. The packaging looked nice too. They were ready in a few minutes from order. Overall nice little place. The pancakes are very big so you might not be able to finish them in one go.
Perhaps the only negative aspect for me was related to the service. If you chose to dine in, you had to place your order and bring it upstairs yourself, and also return your dishes afterward. While this isn’t uncommon especially in large cafes or restaurants with high foot traffic and disposable tableware it felt a bit inconvenient here. Considering the design of the stairs, which were slightly risky, there was a chance of breaking the dishes, and I think that was a drawback for this particular café.
Also, they offered a free drink if you showed them your feedback, which I thought was a fun and interesting option.

You order your food down stairs and then you takes a buzzer, and then you need to go down to get it.
Staff speaks English, they’re nice and the place is cozy to sit in. A must try if you’re in Budapest.
Price is perfect the atmosphere is perfect! And the crepes were crazy...

Frequently asked questions - FAQ
Do you have gluten-free crepes?
Yes! Most of the crepes on our menu can also be ordered with gluten-free batter. However, it is important to note that since we also use wheat flour in our kitchen, we cannot completely rule out cross-contamination due to flour particles in the air. Therefore, if you have a severe sensitivity (celiac disease), we unfortunately do not recommend consumption for your own safety.
Are there sugar-free or dairy-free crepes?
We do not offer sugar-free crepes. The only dairy-free option is crepes with jam made from gluten-free batter.
Can I pay with a SZÉP card at your establishment?
Yes, we accept cash, credit cards, and OTP SZÉP cards.
How long are you open?
🕒 Opening hours: Tuesday – Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
If you would like to eat in, please arrive by 7:30 p.m.! After that, we can only take orders for takeaway (in a “walk-away” box 🥡). The last order is taken at 7:50 p.m.
Is there table service?
Choose your favorite and order at the counter (or online from your table)! As soon as the fresh crepes are ready, you can pick them up at the counter.
Do we need to reserve a table?
On weekdays, you can usually find a table without a reservation. On weekends (especially Friday and Saturday evenings), however, we strongly recommend making a reservation if you want to be sure!
Of course, if you happen to be in the neighborhood, feel free to drop in! If we have a table available, we will be happy to welcome you even without a reservation.
Is the restaurant dog-friendly?
We love four-legged friends, but since we work with an open kitchen, we can’t let them inside the restaurant for hygiene and food safety reasons. Thanks for understanding!
Do you only sell giant crepes?
Yes, size matters to us! We only make freshly baked, giant crepes, which we fill generously. A savory version is equivalent to a complete main meal, while the sweet ones can easily be shared between two people. 😉
